Willow Weight
The center image in these pieces is a set of old fashioned wooden hand weights. They were used for exercise but are not especially heavy. They are set against a very old bodice from a woman’s fancy dress. I nestled the weights inside the interior of the bodice because I liked the boning that had the red printing of the manufacturer on it. The outside of the garment comes around and almost looks like a set of curtains.
The center image is set against a wall of pussywillows. They appear very large, and I think it makes you see them differently.
