All things have a life and time line. In nature the time line is seasonal. These photographs are montages of natural elements that are paired down to their essence. These objects from nature are coupled with images of vintage clothing that feel familiar but are not necessarily recognizable. The images are meant to be inviting but slightly disorienting by playing with scale and confusion about what one is really looking at. My hope is that the viewer will be more visually compelled when the intellect is sort of short circuited because of lack of association through immediate recognition.
