CREDITS: Choreographed by Rudolph Nureyev after Petipa Costumes designed by Nicholas Georgiadis
DESCRIPTION: In the spring of 1982, guest Artist Rudy Nureyev and guest conductor Andre Presser were a part of Boston Ballet’s all new production, which toured in the early 80’s throughout the US, Mexico and Europe, putting Boston Ballet on the international map. This single breasted early 19th Century waistcoat was worn by Rudolph for the Prologue. In August of 1983, DQ was cancelled due to Rudolf Nureyev’s injury.
